Marquis Scott May 8, 2014 IT Career Lab, Training, Veterans Forward, Workforce zero IT Career Lab had an excellent turnout at its first Information Technology Forum final Thursday, May 3! There was standing room solely with 31 attendees including eight women and five veterans. We had a really various group of individuals with numerous educational and expertise ranges. Our industry consultants Andi Grabemeyer from Chicago Tech Works and Richard Burnson from Chicago Public Schools, spoke to the attendees in regards to the growing Chicago expertise industry and its current developments. The discussion board attendees obtained vital information which many would haven't otherwise identified. All of the forum attendees have been able to meet individually with Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Eligibility Specialist Elizabeth Hueramo from the Chicago Workforce Center in Pilsen.
